Livermore Valley’s Taste Our Terroir set to return July 14-17

The four-day experience will feature 13 food and wine events

Livermore Valley wineries are preparing for the return of Taste Our Terroir, a recurring Livermore Valley Winegrowers experience of food and wine, set to return July 14 through 17. This four-day experience is set to offer 13 events, such as a winemaker dinner in the olive orchards, a sensory extravaganza, and much more!

Set to kick off Thursday, July 14, Taste Our Terroir aims to educate wine enthusiasts about the unique taste of Livermore, while celebrating what the wine country has to offer. “Terroir” as a French word refers to the complete natural environment wherein a wine is produced including the topography, soil, and climate. The experience will begin with the wine-and-food pairing competition, formerly held every year, but is returning from the COVID-19 break period. 11 wineries will be partnering with local chefs to create signature bites to compliment the wines, with all the events returning to being public and in-person. Tickets are still available for several of the events, though four have already sold out. For more information, visit the Livermore Valley Winegrower’s Association website at lvwine.org.
